Paul Marshall, Executive Director

Paul Marshall is the Executive Director of Salmat Digital and the CEO of Lasoo.com.au, the leading Pre-Shop™ website in Australia.

Paul has been instrumental in driving the design and development of Dynamic Catalogue, Australia’s leading catalogue viewing technology, which many companies have engaged to expand and enhance their own online marketing and advertising efforts.

Working closely with the Australian retail industry, Paul has played an active role in educating retailers on developing their online strategy and retail marketing in a consumer-driven environment.

He is a thought-leader on how bricks-and-mortar companies can better communicate and capture the attention of the today’s evolved shopper, whose dedicated use of the internet regularly influences their purchasing decisions on the street and in-store.

Paul is an active contributor to the retail industry and is regularly invited to speak at various retail industry forums. He was a key note speaker at Retail World Conference in June 2008, and also participated in a panel discussion on The Future of Retail in Australia at the National Retail Forum in August 2008.

Prior to joining Salmat in September 2006, Paul led information company HWW Limited as Managing Director and CEO. HWW was a publicly-listed business leading in online and mobile development, content aggregation, management and publishing. The business was purchased by ninemsn in April 2006.

Paul has also held senior roles across the IT, Travel, Telecommunications and Publishing industries, making him an expert on online retail marketing and getting the most out of your marketing dollar.

Paul holds an MBA from MGSM and a B.Com (Marketing) from UNSW.
