| Salmat Digital today announced a number of new retailers now advertising their offers on Lasoo.com.au, the retail offer aggregation website, and Dynamic Catalogue, the online catalogue viewing technology that is embedded into a retailer’s own website, as retail ad spend in Australia continues to move online.
Retailers new to Lasoo.com.au are:
Kmart, Coles, BWS, Toy R Us, Telstra, OFIS, Steve Madden, Flight Centre, Dymocks, Surf Dive ‘N’ Ski / Jetty Surf, Glue Store, Pillow Talk, Oz Trail, Lenard’s, Mr Toys Toyworld, King of Knives, Kenny’s Cardiology, Australian Geographic, Homeart, Tyre Power (Queensland), Chemist Warehouse, My Chemist, GO-LO, Crazy Clark’s and Discount Drug Store. Furthermore, Dynamic Catalogue is now being used to host all of Coles’ catalogues on its own website.

Lasoo.com.au and Dynamic Catalogue have continued to go from strength to strength since launching in November 2007. Dynamic Catalogue now serves more than half of all online catalogues viewed in Australia and recently secured a finalist position in the Australian Marketing Institute 2008 awards.
In just over a year, Lasoo.com.au has reached some key milestones including one million unique users a month, 80 retailers and over 20,000 offers available and updated daily, to search on the site. The site recently secured its second Hitwise Top 10 award for the September quarter and was a finalist in the Australian Marketing Institute 2008 awards and B&T 2008 awards.
The executive director of Salmat Digital, Paul Marshall said: “The perception of how to successfully advertise your retail offers to consumers has changed dramatically over the past 12 months, thanks largely to new digital services and technology such as Lasoo.com.au and Dynamic Catalogue. The retail industry now recognises the importance of the Internet in any marketing strategy. The new retailers we have welcomed in the past quarter will reap the benefits of making their offers discoverable online over the busy Christmas retail period.”
With new products in the pipeline and more retailers expected to be announced in the New Year, Salmat Digital will continue forging the way as a leading online advertising medium and digital platform within the retail industry.
